She/Her
Two things you’ll be able to tell immediately upon meeting me: I am from Texas, and I am passionate about sharing with everyone the good news of God's extraordinary love on display in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I hold degrees from the University of Texas and Yale Divinity School, and have been a priest since 2013. In 2020, I was appointed to be the Archdeacon for Justice, which is why I have the fancy-sounding title.
My husband, Derek, works at the Telus World of Science. We have a greyhound named Hobbes, who’s just like the cartoon tiger.
We respectfully acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory. In the spirit of peace, friendship and understanding we walk alongside our Indigenous brothers and sisters on the traditional meeting ground and home of Indigenous Peoples, including Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis and Nakota Sioux. We give thanks for their hospitality and the opportunity to share common ground.
