She/Her
My family joined the Good Shepherd Anglican Church in 2019, soon after arriving in Canada. Integrating into the church community was seamless because we felt like part of a big family. Either by design or coincidence, I have only worked in the human services field here in Canada, even though my university degree is in an entirely different field. I consider my life and everything that happens in it as God’s grand design. This is why I have embraced the career path I currently tread. My story will not be complete without family. I have been blessed beyond measure with a beautiful and loving family. Being surrounded by a loving husband and four amazing children is amongst the many miracles that have beautified my life. Every assignment I have taken up in the Church by way of volunteer have come with an inner sense of satisfaction and gratitude to be a vessel fit for purpose in God’s assembly. It will be my pleasure to continue adding value to God’s community through deliberate acts of Charity. Consequently, it gives me great joy to serve as a vestry member in the Church and I look forward to an enriching time of service.
We respectfully acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory. In the spirit of peace, friendship and understanding we walk alongside our Indigenous brothers and sisters on the traditional meeting ground and home of Indigenous Peoples, including Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis and Nakota Sioux. We give thanks for their hospitality and the opportunity to share common ground.
